2nd day without media

I woke up at 10:00 am this morning thinking to myself how i survived pretty well the first day without too much media. Since i thought i did a pretty good job yesterday, i thought today would be just as easy. Little did i know though that today was going to be really hard to resist. Saturday is the day when i need media more then anything. I started the day off having to finish the rest of my science project and didn't get that done till 12:00 pm. the next thing I decided to do that didnt require media was to study math for about a hour. this is where the horror began. Phone calls started to come in like crazy. Over the our I was studying for math, I recieved 8 missed calls. I didnt choose to answer them just to see how long i can resist without talking on the phone and because i didnt believe the phone calls had any importance. As time was going by, it was getting harder to resist because I was recieving more phone calls. In order for me to forget about my phone, I decided to go hang out with my dad wherever the wind blew us. We went out to eat, went to the gym, and stopped at the music store to decide what i needed for
my dj set up. When I arrived back home around 7:00 pm, I had 15 voicemails, 40 missed calls, and 60 unread text messages. I looked at the text messages to see what everyone was bugging about. After reading all of them, everyone wanted to know where the party was at. After seeing that my friends were trying to get a hold of me all day, I couldn't help leaving them hanging, so I decided to text them saying "the party is going to be off of bandera and 410" As soon as I fwd the text out to everyone I started recieving an enormous amount of text messages asking where was I at, why i haven't got back to them, and why did it take so long for me to reply. As soon as i started recieving all the text messages I felt like a bad friend, so I decided to txt them back saying I forgot my phone and my house and I was gone all day. Some people knew that was not true because I never forget my phone. The night had come by and once again I delt with a long drive to the party, I was glad no one rode with me because I couldn't imagine the complaints I would be gettin from them. When I arrived my friends were already there waiting for me. As soon as I got out the car, they started making jokes about me. It was really funny but one of my good friends knew the real reason why I didn't answer or reply to anyone. When we were all talking he mentioned it to everyone and everyone was laughing. Even though I didn't last all day without media, I felt like I gave it my best. I learned that in todays society, nothing can be done without media involved in your life. It must be used at all times; whether its dealing with communication, music, transportation, learning new things about the world, etc. I personally find myself to be a pretty busy person, and im only 19, i can't imagine someone of more importance can handle a day without media. Maybe he should join mr. lopez class hahaa
